Year In Review

2005 was a year of major growth for Apollo Hosting. Apollo's staff has grown significantly as have our available services. Apollo Hosting looks forward to providing your hosting services for many years to come. We thank you for your patronage and wish you all the best as we grow together.

In House Tech Support

Apollo Hosting’s technical support is now completely in-house, providing an unprecedented level of interactivity and feedback between the company and the customers that need us the most. Our new technical support employees come from the local community, and Apollo Hosting is proud to be supporting the local economy. We have sought out trained and experienced individuals to handle all aspects of our support systems, including phone, chat, and help desk personnel.

New Office Facility

building photo To house our expanding staff, Apollo Hosting's main offices have moved to a new state-of-the-art facility in a building designed from the ground up to accommodate our operations. The new building provides a four fold increase in space for our personnel and equipment, and is wired for all our advanced communications requirements in both voice and data. The additional space helps us comfortably accommodate our new technical support team and facilitates their operations in quickly and effectively addressing the needs of our customers. While our staff enjoys their new office, our servers remain secure in their existing datacenters. The move was exclusively for our personnel, not our servers.

New Services

Apollo Hosting significantly expanded our services this year with the addition of professional web designers. This fully featured service is now available to anyone in need of a fully staffed design company. Sites can be built from the ground up, created according to example layouts, or existing sites can be redesigned, expanded, and maintained. From the simple to the complex, the Apollo Hosting design team can handle virtually any request.

Is There A "Best" Web Design Program?

Any aspiring web designer seeking help from a forum about the "best" web design software will immediately be greeted by two very different responses. One will either be told to use a large, expensive, purpose-built design program such as Dreamweaver or to use something they most likely already have- Notepad. These are very disparate responses, and this article will explore some of the general reasons this rift occurred.
